Members of Peace Evangelical
Lutheran Church celebrated their 20th anniversary Sunday, February 27, 2000 with
an afternoon holy communion worship service. The church pastor, Mary Lou Kator, was the celebrant, and the sermon was given by Rev. Dr. Charles Maahs,
ELCA Central States Bishop.
Communion ministers were
Bishop Charles Maahs, Pastor William George, Larry Lemke, Bill Markgraf,
Pastor Melvin Peterson, and Pastor Kator.
Lectors were Leland
Linneman and Sandra Scheiderer. Altar person was Sarah Moore. Jon and
Sarah Moore were ushers and Jared Meyer was acolyte.
Gift bearers were Ryan
Littleton, Megan and Spencer Wright, Aaron and Cole Edwards, Tyler and
Samantha Linneman, and David Lindeman.
Organists were Susan
Littleton and Catherine Meyer. Special music was by Kari Littleton and
Janiece Linneman.
